WASHINGTON, MO. - Local author Laura (Brandt) Miller recently visited Washington Middle School. She talked to Mrs. Kaylin Bade’s seventh-grade Language Arts classes about writing realistic fiction. “They were all so eager to learn about writing and what it takes to be an author,” Miller said. “We talked about everything from writing the first line of a scene to molding a character to how long it takes to write a book.” FIND THE FULL ARTICLE HERE!
