I'm back in Missouri now. It's 69 degrees here! That's a 32-degree difference from Texas yesterday, so I'm still adjusting! Lol! But I absolutely LOVED meeting you all in Dallas Saturday! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited with me! I had such a great time, and I hope you did too! Also, thank you to Whitney McGregor, Patricia Lee, Erin Spencer, Yamara Martinez and all the volunteers for putting on such a wonderful event! I've included some photos from the day below!
I write about rain on tin roofs, gravel roads, old trucks with holes in the floorboards and small-town summer nights. I grew up on a farm in a little Midwestern town. Now, I live in Kansas City, Mo., with my weatherman husband.
