I loved seeing all of you at Miller’s Landing Day! Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting with me. It was an amazing day, and you guys were so sweet! Some of you I hadn’t seen in way too many years! And thank you to my lovely assistants who got up early and stayed late! Oh, and a shout-out to my nephew, Jack, who swept the turtle and frog races that day! ...He gets it from his aunt, who once had a grand champion racing turtle herself! 😉 :) I’ve included a few photos from Saturday below!

I write about rain on tin roofs, gravel roads, old trucks with holes in the floorboards and small-town summer nights. I grew up on a farm in a little Midwestern town. Now, I live in Kansas City, Mo., with my weatherman husband.
